This artistic project is supported by a mobile and autonomous unit, an unidentified motorised object that will travel across the city and its surroundings, creating at each stop surprises and events.
As both a receiver and transmitter, it announces, samples and broadcasts the thematic contents of urban re-evolution on the outskirts of the greater area.
Each venue (11 venues from 2 July to 5 October 2011) will host workshops, debates, performances, art installations, video screenings, and local events to stimulate experience sharing.
These goings on will be reported by the Radio Grenouille collective, in the integrated recording studio which will then broadcast the serial created by this summer exploration.
During the 10 days of EVENTO, the mobile unit, active on a daily basis, will follow various topical events, broadcasting a live programme every day and a content broadcast with local and national radio stations. They will also be podcastable on the EVENTO website.
A “wanted” appeal appeal has been sent out as from June all over the metropolis, in order to collect accounts of collective and individual initiatives on the notion of living together.
